Project Engineer (Phuket) - Otis Elevator Company (Thailand) Limited

• Plan, coordinate, and manage elevator and escalator installation activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

• Review project contracts, specifications, layout drawings, and installation requirements to ensure accurate project execution.

• Develop and monitor project schedules, installation activities, manpower, contractors, and project costs.

• Supervise installation teams, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure work complies with approved procedures and project plans.

• Monitor installation progress and prepare required progress reports and project documentation.

• Coordinate with customers, consultants, main contractors, engineers, and internal teams to resolve site issues and keep projects on schedule.

• Work closely with the Safety team to ensure compliance with company safety procedures, inspections, and audit requirements.

• Inspect site readiness and construction conditions, including hoistways, pits, supports, and other installation-related areas against approved drawings.

• Check the quantity and condition of equipment and materials delivered to the project site.

• Coordinate testing, inspection, handover, and project completion activities with relevant stakeholders.

• Perform other project-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• Experience in project management, construction, installation, or site engineering is preferred.

• Experience in the elevator & escalator, M&E, construction, or building systems industry would be an advantage.

• Strong project coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams.

• Good command of English and proficiency in standard computer applications.

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

• Strong commitment to quality and workplace safety.

• Based in Phuket Province and able to travel to project sites as required.
