Responsibilities
- Monitor daily production to achieve established targets for quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Optimize manpower utilization and machine efficiency while actively reducing production costs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Kaizen, QCC, and various problem-solving techniques.
- Minimize production waste and enhance manufacturing processes and overall productivity.
- Prepare comprehensive production reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operational flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Production Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering. Previous experience at the Assistant Manager level is a plus.
- Knowledge of Kaizen, QCC, Continuous Improvement, and problem-solving techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of manufacturing machines and the ability to interpret technical drawings is preferred.
- Japanese language proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work Monday–Saturday (with Saturdays off according to the company's working calendar).
