Responsibilities
1. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities for facility equipment and utility systems in accordance with the established maintenance plan.
2. Develop, maintain, and improve SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems to enhance the reliability, monitoring capability, and efficiency of facility operations.
3. Analyze facility system performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance quality, reliability, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.
4. Coordinate with production and related departments to ensure facility operations support production requirements without interruption.
5. Execute improvement projects related to utilities, automation, energy management, and facility infrastructure to achieve operational targets.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCADA, PLC, HMI, and facility control systems.
7. Establish and standardize best practices, operating procedures, and preventive maintenance plans for facility systems.
8. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
9. Prepare monthly, semi-annual, and annual reports on facility performance, system reliability, and improvement activities.
10. Prepare the annual maintenance and improvement plan, including budget proposals for facility systems.
11. Supervise contractors and support the development of technicians within the responsible area while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Plant Engineering, Facility Engineering, or Utility Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with SCADA systems, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, configuration, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, Industrial Networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, ProfNet, etc.), and automation control systems.
- Experience in utility systems such as HVAC, Air Compressor, Chiller, Cooling Tower, Electrical Distribution, Water Treatment, or Boiler will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Good command of English is preferred.
