Responsibilities
- Receive RFQ, CAD, and drawing documents from customers and forward them to the quotation team.
- Conduct feasibility assessments based on customer-provided RFQ, drawing, and CAD data.
- Coordinate with customers to clarify details of unclear drawing or CAD data.
- Prepare benchmark data related to mold costs, part prices, materials, and processes.
- Analyze prices and perform initial product cost analysis for management review and customer presentation.
- Prepare and present quotation documents to customers.
- Support all requirements for new models during the quotation process.
- Track and coordinate with customers on the construction and development of new models.
- Coordinate with customers on matters outside the scope of the current operations section.
- Welcome and assist customers during company visits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Tool & Die, Automotive), Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Project Coordination, or Cost Estimation, preferably within the automotive parts or mold and die manufacturing industry.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 2D/3D CAD data.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, mold structures, and raw materials.
- Experience in conducting feasibility studies, cost analysis (including benchmarking), and quotation preparation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Proactive and service-minded approach with the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good command of English in both written and spoken communication. Japanese or Chinese proficiency is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for cost analysis.
