Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify essential import documentation such as B/L, Invoice, and Packing List
- Coordinate with shipping lines, customs brokers, and clients to ensure smooth import operations
- Track shipment status from origin to destination and provide updates to relevant parties
- Issue D/O and maintain records related to import activities as required
- Review the accuracy of charges and billing documents from business partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in import documentation within a Freight Forwarder business
- Understanding of import processes and related documentation
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and coordination skills for internal and external stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high volume of documents
- Experience with customs clearance procedures is a plus.
