Responsibilities
The Capital Operations Officer serves as Woxa Group financial intelligence hub within the Operations Team—reporting to the COO, partnering with the CFO, and using Accounting data to monitor and plan fund movements across all bank accounts and PSPs so leadership can make timely allocation decisions, without executing transfers directly.
1. Capital Flow Mapping & Group Visibility
- Live Capital Mapping: Build and maintain a real-time capital flow map showing cash positions across all entities, bank accounts, and PSPs.
- Executive Cash Reporting: Produce weekly, context-rich cash position reports from accounting data to enable immediate decision-making by the COO and CFO.
- System & Data Accuracy: Update the flow map promptly for any structural account changes, ensuring leadership has instant visibility into global funds.
2. Capital Flow Planning & Fund Movement Recommendations
- Threshold & Framework Design: Establish min/max balance thresholds per account and design efficient routing paths that minimize FX risks, fees, and provider limits.
- Proactive Cash Planning: Analyze cash positions against obligations to spot liquidity risks early and maintain contingency backup routes.
- Strategic Transfer Recommendations: Provide data-driven recommendations (amount, path, timing, and rationale) to the COO and CFO for all required fund movements.
3. Bank & PSP Intelligence
- Constraint Management: Maintain a register of provider limits, SLAs, and restrictions to optimize fund routing.
- Infrastructure Optimization: Identify coverage gaps and recommend new bank or PSP onboardings with structured business rationales.
4. Transfer Instruction Preparation
- Instruction Drafting: Prepare precise transfer documentation (accounts, amounts, currencies, rationale) upon approval.
- Intercompany & Tracking Coordination: Align with Accounting on required intercompany documents and track post-execution status, flagging delays without directly performing execution or reconciliation.
5. Anomaly Detection & Reporting
- Risk & Pattern Monitoring: Review fund flows to flag anomalies, unexpected movements, settlement delays, or concentration risks.
- Performance Summaries: Deliver monthly fund flow reviews and quarterly PSP performance reports (fees, limits, failure rates).
6. Ad-hoc & Special Projects
- Expansion & M&A Support: Assist with account setups in new jurisdictions and supply treasury structures for M&A due diligence.
- Strategic Operations: Execute special treasury and capital projects assigned by the COO
