Responsibilities
Handle daily customer service operations for assigned accounts.
Contact customers to confirm shipment details, including total carton count, weight, freight terms, and cargo pickup schedules.
Book space with air carriers/airlines based on customer requirements and overseas agents' instructions.
Monitor and follow up on cargo pickup schedules with trucking subcontractors.
Provide continuous shipment status updates to customers.
Issue HAWB and MAWB in accordance with shippers' invoices.
Prepare and issue Dangerous Goods (DG) declarations and manage DG handling compliance.
Distribute tasks and operational documents to customs clearance officers, console officers, and loaders.
Close consolidation files for all airfreight export shipments.
Close job files in the operational system (ABS) and calculate profit/loss for each shipment.
Generate incoming vouchers and invoices for local customers and overseas agents.
Maintain and update air freight rates and related surcharges (e.g., AMS fees, fuel surcharges).
Prepare monthly ISO objective reports.
Execute work strictly in accordance with company procedures, work instructions, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
Perform special tasks or assignments as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-9 years of experience in airfreight operations or freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of Dangerous Goods (DG) handling and DG declaration procedures.
- Familiarity with company operational computer systems (e.g., ABS) and freight management tools.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality management systems.
