Responsibilities
- Supervise and improve production processes to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Design, implement, and refine workflows to reduce waste and improve output.
- Monitor equipment performance and oversee installation or upgrades of machinery.
- Develop safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Quality Control, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
- Train operators and technicians on new processes and equipment.
- Prepare reports and documentation for management and regulatory purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing engineering (fresh graduates with strong internship/project experience may be considered).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in process optimization, workflow design, and productivity improvement.
- Understanding of machine performance, maintenance concepts, and equipment installation/upgrade projects.
- Familiar with safety standards, risk assessment, and compliance requirements in manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production data and identify bottlenecks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; able to work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools; knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
