Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage purchasing of materials and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Source and evaluate suppliers according to quality, cost, delivery, and other requirements
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage purchasing-related documentation and coordinate with internal departments
- Communicate with overseas suppliers regarding material availability, specifications, and related matters
- Oversee transportation and logistics operations and coordinate with external providers
- Supervise warehouse operations and coordinate with the purchasing/logistics/warehouse teams
- Other tasks as assigned

- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5 years' experience in purchasing/procurement in any manufacturing
- Experience in managing subordinates, supplier sourcing, price negotiation, and purchasing condition negotiation
- Conversational high-level English (Communication by phone and email with overseas suppliers)
- Experience in logistics operations and warehouse management is preferred
- Experience in the same or a related manufacturing industry is preferred
- Strong negotiation skill in purchasing is preferred
- Established relationships with suppliers in the manufacturing sector is preferred
- Experience using purchasing/ERP systems is preferred
Languages skills:
- English: Conversational
- Japanese: None
