Quality Engineer / Supplier Quality Engineer - Benchmark Electronics (Thailand) PCL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic QA Leadership: Define and implement product quality assurance plans and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and high-quality product delivery.

• Process Improvement: Establish QS 9000 operating procedures. Utilize statistical techniques (SPC) to reduce massive inspections, initiate quality cost analysis, and drive overall quality cost reduction.

• Team Management: Manage the QIS staff, product quality engineers, supervisors, and QA inspectors. Ensure adequate workforce allocation for individual products/customers.

• Issue Resolution: Handle all customer quality complaints, oversee responses, and coordinate cross-departmental Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

• Training & Reporting: Manage training activities for manufacturing departments to enhance performance. Oversee the production and publication of comprehensive quality reports.

Role A: Quality Engineer (QE) Responsibilities:

• Analyze root causes of part quality problems, identify, implement, and verify long-term solutions.

• Cooperate with customers and internal sections regarding quality concerns and follow up on CAPA.

• Develop and implement QA procedures, Work Instructions (WI), Tooling, and Quality Plans for inspectors.

• Analyze quality data to present to management and issue feedback/trouble reports to relevant sections.

• Support Pre-MRB verification and provide MRB technical information. Ensure the QMS meets or exceeds customer and corporate requirements.

Role B: Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) Responsibilities:

• Ensure all supplier parts meet Benchmark and customer quality standards.

• Coordinate directly with suppliers to resolve quality issues.

• Supervise the SQE team, manage sample submissions, maintain GIP, and approve NCMRs and material purges.

Qualifications for Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering or Science field.

• 6+ years of overall working experience, with 3 to 5 years in Quality Assurance Management.

• Proven systematic management skills with deep knowledge of international QMS.

• Strong expertise in SPC (Inspection data analysis, Pareto charts, CPK, Process control, etc.).

• Excellent personality, strong leadership, and fluent in English.

Qualifications for QE & SQE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in Top Level Assembly, PCBA, SMT, ICT, or Micro-Electronics.

• Knowledge of manufacturing statistical tools and proficient in MS Office.

• Strong leadership, communication skills, and a good command of English.
