Responsibilities
The main objective of the position is to manage and control the quality of the products after inspection so that they comply with all respective quality systems. Additionally, the position holder is responsible for the management of all resources in order to ensure a supply of glazed products for further processes (according to the production plan and the budget).
- Close cooperation with the quality control department to make dimension gage as well as to control the quality of dimension gage.
- Controlling and reducing the WIP in each area of sorting, leak testing, cold repair and hot repair.
- Focusing on good A pieces transfer to bare ware and/or warehouse according to the production plan.
- Improving the quality of repairing processes for both hot and cold repair ware. Monitoring and improving the defects found at QA.
- Working closely with the engineering department to control the spare parts stock, the breakdown quota and the status of the machinery as well as to oversee and manage the preventive maintenance of the production equipment.
- Preparing and controlling the expense budget.
- Monitoring and reporting the sorting KPIs to the management and providing improvement action plans for critical KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering any field.
- 3-5 years experience in production supervisor, engineer, foreman
- Able to work in shift.
