Responsibilities
- QMS Management and Maintenance: Ensure that processes needed for the QMS are documented, established, implemented and maintained in conformity with all certified standards. Oversee the control of QMS documents and records.
- Management Review: Plan and coordinate management reviews at planned intervals, prepare review inputs, record outputs, and follow up actions to closure.
- Monitor and report quality KPIs in accordance with the company KPI monitoring procedure.
- Internal Audit: Establish and manage the internal audit programme covering all processes, standards and shifts, including manufacturing process and product audits.
- Medical Device Specific Requirements: Oversee the establishment and maintenance of the Medical Device File.
- Automotive Specific Requirements: Ensure customer-specific requirements (CSRs) are reviewed, deployed and incorporated into the QMS.
- Aerospace Specific Requirements: Oversee configuration management, product safety, and prevention of counterfeit parts.
- Corrective Action and Continual Improvement: Oversee the corrective action (CAPA) system, verify effectiveness and track timely closure. Drive continual improvement of the QMS.
- External Interface: Act as primary contact for certification bodies and customer audits, and follow up closure of external audit findings.
- Support the flow-down of QMS requirements to external providers.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in QMS within manufacturing, including at least 3 years at managerial level.
- Knowledge: ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, AS9100 and related documents such as ISO 14971 and Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
- Training: Internal Auditor training for the applicable standards.
- English communication, data analysis, leadership and cross-functional coordination.
