Maintenance Engineer - Global - Thaixon Precision Industry Co., Ltd.

1. Maintenance Analysis & Performance

• Monitor and analyze machine and equipment performance to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Analyze maintenance data and prepare reports on downtime, breakdown, and scrap.
• Monitor key maintenance KPIs such as equipment utilization, maintenance cost, and PM compliance.
• Identify equipment problems and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Coordinate and support maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and equipment repair.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and according to schedule.
• Inspect and verify the quality and effectiveness of maintenance work.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures.

3. Preventive Maintenance & Continuous Improvement

• Develop, implement, and maintain Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs for plant equipment.
• Review PM effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead or support Kaizen, Continuous Improvement (CI), and equipment reliability projects.
• Monitor spare parts usage and coordinate purchasing requirements.
• Support maintenance cost reduction and equipment improvement initiatives.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Follow and support implementation of safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with company policies and applicable health and safety regulations.
• Promote safe working practices within maintenance activities.

5. Project & General Support

• Support equipment installation, modification, improvement, and expansion projects.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors for maintenance-related activities.
• Prepare technical information and cost estimates for maintenance and improvement projects.
• Respond to equipment emergencies and provide technical support to minimize production downtime.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in maintenance management.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in preventive maintenance, mechanical/electrical systems, or utilities.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong knowledge of preventive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and utility systems.
• Familiar with ISO standards, TPM, and factory safety requirements.
• Experience in budgeting and cost control.
• Able to read mechanical/electrical drawings and use maintenance software.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Special Skills Required

• Expertise in CNC/machining, electrical/electronic systems, PLC programming, safety awareness, test equipment, schematics, mechanics, blueprint reading, measurement techniques, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of machine shop equipment (lathes, mills, presses, welding machines).
• Strong understanding of pneumatic & hydraulic systems and electrical technology.
• Knowledge of relay logic, ladder diagrams, PLCs, and AC/DC power circuits.
• Practical experience with pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes, and PLC-related maintenance.
