Equipment Manager - Advanced Interconnection Technology Company Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technical performance and capability of production equipment across PCB manufacturing processes.
• Lead new equipment selection, technical evaluation, installation, commissioning, qualification, acceptance, and production ramp-up.
• Ensure equipment capability and configuration meet process specifications, product requirements, production capacity, and quality standards.
• Lead equipment modification, upgrading, automation, control system improvement, and technology enhancement projects.
• Analyze equipment performance and technical limitations and implement improvements to increase capability, productivity, stability, and efficiency.
• Support equipment readiness for new products, new processes, capacity expansion, and engineering changes.
• Establish equipment technical standards, specifications, acceptance criteria, and equipment engineering documentation.
• Work closely with Process Engineering to maintain process stability and resolve equipment-related process or quality issues.
• Lead technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex or recurring equipment problems.
• Manage equipment lifecycle, obsolescence risks, replacement plans, and capital equipment improvement projects.
• Provide technical specifications for critical spare parts, equipment components, and specialized services.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers on technical support, equipment upgrades, performance improvement, and problem resolution.
• Manage and develop equipment engineers and technicians through technical training, competency development, and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure equipment engineering activities comply with safety, ESD, environmental, quality, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report equipment performance, capability issues, improvement projects, technical risks, and equipment investment status to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in equipment engineering or manufacturing engineering, including supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in PCB manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or related high-volume manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PCB production equipment such as drilling, routing, imaging, plating, etching, solder mask, surface treatment, inspection, and electrical test equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, automation, PLC/control systems, sensors, and industrial equipment.
• Experience in equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, troubleshooting, modification, and upgrading.
• Good understanding of equipment capability, process stability, equipment availability, OEE, and manufacturing productivity.
• Strong analytical, root cause analysis, project management, and continuous improvement skills.
• Experience in supplier technical management and capital equipment projects.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Good command of English for technical communication, documentation, and supplier coordination.
