Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance strategies, systems, and standards to ensure consistent product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and manage the QA team to monitor raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, ensuring conformance with internal and external standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, BRC).
- Design and continuously improve quality inspection protocols and testing procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reduce quality-related costs.
- Analyze production data and quality metrics using statistical tools to identify trends, root causes, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate closely with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to address and resolve quality issues across the value chain.
- Supervise internal and external audits, including customer audits, certification audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Develop training programs and promote a quality-first culture within the organization.
- Evaluate supplier quality performance and coordinate improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Prepare and present quality reports, risk assessments, and improvement proposals to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or a related field)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
In-depth knowledge of quality systems and standards such as ISO 9001, GMP, BRC, HACCP, or other industry-relevant frameworks
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in data analysis and statistical quality control (SQC) tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and interact with external stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software; experience with CAD or technical drawing interpretation is a plus
Fluent in English (written and spoken) is an advantage for international coordination
